Watch MC Jamie Oliver Rap With Hugh Jackman, Ed Sheeran & More For Food Revolution Day

Celebrity food Warrior Jamie Oliver has traded his oven mits for a mic stand to record what’s probably the year’s biggest dad rap track. The all-star collaboration, which puts a hip-hop spin on the old USA For Africa celebrities-unite-to-sing-for-a-good-cause schtick, features cameos from Aussie movie star Hugh Jackman, as well as Ed Sheeran, Sir Paul McCartney and a string of other high-profile names.

Unfortunately, as a song, it’s also probably got about as much street cred with the rap faithful as this…

Or this…

But that doesn’t matter, because it’s for a good cause. By busting rhymes and dropping beats, Jamie Oliver is aiming to raise awareness about Food Revolution Day, and help bridge the gut-wrenching divide between the third world’s starvation epidemic, and the first world’s obesity epidemic.

The campaign, which kicks off today, aims to put compulsory practical food education on the British school curriculum, and encourage healthier eating and a healthier lifestyle. Hear MC Oliver and his rag tag crew deliver the message, through the medium of rap, below.
