Fan cannot subside on reissues alone. We swam in returns of The Real Thing and Angel Dust, but now Faith No More are stretching fresh canvas with a brand new album – Sol Invictus. It’s the group’s first full-length in nearly two decades, and arrives May 19 through Reclamation Recordings/Ipecac. Now, a week ahead of schedule, we can hear the entire thing in it’s maniacally awesome glory.
The hardly-dared-to-hope-for followup to 1997’s Album of the Year was recorded at bassist Billy Gould’s home studio in Oakland over the past year – and now you can hear it in full before physical release:
