Yeah, we’re not sure about this one. Today, Cadbury Australia announced the arrival of a brand new product on the market that blends two of the country’s most beloved snacks. Yep, Vegemite flavoured chocolate is heading our way soon.
Cadbury Australia broke the news via Twitter this afternoon, telling followers “the rumours were true”. Those rumours began circling about a month a go, after images of the Vegemite-infused product began popping up online.
“Dairy Milk milk chocolate with smooth flowing caramel and VEGEMITE,” reads the description on the Cadbury package show in the video.
The video goes on to inform us the controversial new flavour combo will be ready for your tastebuds on June 1st, before cryptically adding “but you may see it sooner.” They also want you to know that “yes, it’s surprisingly delicious.”
We’ll be the judge of that.
