So far 2015 has been a great year for gaming. Games including Cities: Skylines, Mortal Kombat X, and Ori and the Blind Forest have met expectations, and in some ways exceeded them. But there’s still a whole lot left in-store for the rest of the year.

May 5th - Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
Wolfenstein: The New Order was one of the most surprisingly good games of 2014, and certainly contained one of the best first-person shooter campaigns in recent years. Following its success developer MachineGames studied what worked and what didn't before starting work on an expansion pack.
Titled Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, the expansion pack will once again feature William "B.J." Blazkowicz on a harrowing journey filled with intense firefights and a compelling story. As with the main game, the gun play, cover system, and weapon mechanics will be solid. Count us in.

May 7th/12th - Project Cars
The racing simulator genre has been absolutely dominated by Forza and Gran Turismo for several years. Project Cars is the first game in a long time to challenge that.
After earning millions through crowdfunding, developer Slightly Mad Studios began to put together an elite list of racing content. The preview build demonstrated that it will have remarkably accurate physics, and its car and track list is already impressive. This could be the kick that the genre has been in need of.

May 12th - Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
Final Fantasy X is regarded by many as the last great Final Fantasy. It was one of the games released in 2001 that turned the PlayStation 2's library from average to stellar.
If you're like me, you probably haven't played it in over a decade. Sure, there were PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the remaster, but they weren't the quantum leap that'll be served on PlayStation 4. This version has received a major visual overhaul, a remastered soundtrack, and new features. It is the ultimate version of one of the best RPGs in history.
It's worth mentioning that Final Fantasy X-2 HD is included.

May 19th - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the game that brings everything together for this list. It is one of the three most anticipated video games of 2015, riding on a mountain of hype following its successful wooing of press during the past two years.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a style of game that really hasn't been seen this generation. It's absolutely massive, said to contain over 200 hours of content. Its world is remarkably detailed, working in tandem with its long list of quests to deliver an adventure unlike any other. RPG addiction is about to be reborn for the current generation of consoles.

May 29th - Splatoon
In a time when local multiplayer games are seldom encountered, Splatoon looks to give families and friends something to play together. It isn't a traditional game, either.
Played in the third person, players are tasked with spraying paint on as much of the level as possible while dealing with their opponents. Fighting the clock while battling for territory is a tension-inducing affair that has led to excitement at every convention it has been present.
