The 2015 Groovin The Moo lineup has expanded once again, with almost 50 new acts joining the regional Australian festival, set to roll through the country this April and May.
In addition to the newly announced triple j Groovin The Moo Unearthed competition winners, today even more local emerging artists have joined the Groovin The Moo family, spread out across each of the six festival legs.
One such addition is young Adelaide singer and songwriter Jesse Davidson and local indie pop outfit Sparkspitter who will join the festival at its opening leg in Oakbank. The Bunbury festival will be represented by the likes of Tired Lion as well as local favs Timothy Nelson & The Infadels.
Next up, Bendigo will see the talents of one man music making machine Harts, plus the South African-born, Aussie-based Ecca Vandal and Melbourne two-pice Pierce Brothers. Punters in Canberra will get to delight in the sweet sounds of Boo Seeka and Montaigne, while Electronic Producer and Island Def Jam signee Just A Gent will work his charm at GTM Maitland.
The festival’s final leg in Townsville will also host local lads King Social and Brisbane based alt six-piece Mosman Alder.
This year, before music festival The Plot makes its triumphant return, it will be making a stop at GTM with its own stages in Bendigo and Maitland. Artists on The Plot lineups include Total Giovanni DJs, Gold Fields DJs, Flerm, IOU DJs, Mickey Kojak, Odd Mob and more.
Groovin The Moo will kick off in Oakbank on ANZAC Day, Saturday, 25th April, before the festival makes its way to Bunbury, Bendigo, Canberra, Maitland, and finishes up in Townsville on Sunday, 10th May. Tickets to Bendigo and Maitland have already sold out.
