Joe & Anthony Russo Will Direct Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’
It’s official… sort of. Everyone but Marvel Studios has confirmed that Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War, have signed on to direct The Avengers: Infinity War Part I and Part II. What does this mean for the Russo Brothers’ upcoming Ghostbusters spin-off? And what does this mean for Joss Whedon, the previous director of the Avengers movies? Will he stay with Marvel Studios or does he have other plans for movies and TV?
‘The X-Files’ Returns to Fox as Event Series
David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and series creator Chris Carter are back with more episode of The X-Files. Six in total. But will The X-Files even work in the 21st Century? Is Chris Carter really the writer we want in control of this series, especially since so many of the best episodes of the series came from different creative talents? Have audiences been burned by the most recent, very lame movie? And do the hardcore fans even want to see a resolution to the conspiracy storyline, or would they be happier with more of the classic “Monster of the Week” episodes?
First Look: Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in ‘Batman v Superman’
The first image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor have premiered online, and yup, he’s bald alright. Is this really worth getting worked up about? Is anyone surprised to learn that Jesse Eisenberg shaved his head to play a character that everyone knows is bald? Why the heck is this such a big deal, anyway?
