Among this month’s AAA releases is Battlefield: Hardline, a title that is expected to kick off this year’s strong line-up of first-person shooters. With mere days separating us from its release, EA has decided to debut its official launch trailer.
Battlefield: Hardline‘s launch trailer could easily be mistaken as being for a full feature film. Battlefield: Hardline is a deviation from EA’s long history of releasing war-centric Battlefield games. It’s a game of cops versus criminals with S.W.A.T. members, drugs, fast cars, and downtown Los Angeles environments. In other words, it’s a lot different than what you’re used to seeing from the franchise.
It was revealed yesterday that Battlefield: Hardline will run at 720p 60 FPS on Xbox One, and 900p 60 FPS on PS4. So, if you like 1080p you’re going to want to go with the PC version on this one.
