Xenoblade Chronicles 3D Gets a US Release Date and New Trailer

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D for the New Nintendo 3DS will be released in the US on April 10th, with it set to debut in Japan and Europe on the slightly earlier date of April 2nd.

The heavily anticipated title will be released solely for Nintendo’s latest model of the 3DS console, which boasts an extra analog stick that will be intrinsic to the RPG’s gameplay. it will also make use of the New 3DS’ CPU, meaning that it will not be available to play on either the original 3DS, the 2DS or the 3DS XL.

First released back in 2010 in Japan for the Wii, the game is often hailed as one of the very best modern RPGs, and copies of the game are very expensive to purchase on sites such as eBay in the West, meaning that many still haven’t had a chance to experience it.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will be released as a “refresher” of the original game, before its sequel Xenoblade X is released on the Wii U later in the year.
