February 2015 Video Game Release Calendar
February 10th - Evolve
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One
Evolve is , in a way, 2015's Titanfall . It's releasing early in the year, isn't concerned about telling a story, and instead focuses all of its energy on competitive first-person shooter multiplayer. Though, Evolve stands out as a game of a unique breed; its multiplayer is asymmetric, where the two teams are comprised of four Hunters and one Monster. While the Hunters must use teamwork to trap and kill the Monster, the Monster can devastate the team if unmanaged.
Evolve has proved itself to be quite the spectacle. Even if you don't plan to buy it, you should at least head over to Twitch.tv and watch a few matches.

Ready at Dawn's The Order: 1886 has earned quite the reputation during the past year. Its pre-release media has shown what will inarguably become one of the most graphically impressive games to-date. It's set in an alternate history London, where man has become monster. You, equipped with a variety of powerful weapons, will need to pursue these foes that threaten humanity.
The Order: 1886 is a third-person shooter with a heavy presence of story. It is, as with several other first-party PS4 games, a title that functions well as a demonstration of the PS4's powerful hardware.
February 24/25th - Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Episode 1
Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360
While a lot of gamers talk about how Resident Evil has faded into obscurity over the years, there is one recent game in the franchise that was worthy of praise. That game was Resident Evil: Revelations . The problem was that initially the game was only available on the 3DS, a device that doesn't fare well with action games. This sequel hasn't made the same mistake.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 , with Claire Redfield starring as the sole playable protagonist. It's a third-person shooter with lots of zombies, and Capcom even says it will actually be scary. Cross your fingers.
