A Limited Edition version of the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remake for the 3DS will be released exclusively in North America, Nintendo has announced.

The bundle, which will cost $49.99, features a copy of the game along with a figurine of Skull Kid, a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series along with the primary antagonist throughout most of Majora’s Mask.
The official announcement from Nintendo reads: “Fans of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask know the significance of the Skull Kid character. He is the face of the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems and, just like the game itself, can be described as mysterious and foreboding.
The remake of the Nintendo 64 classic is one of the highlights of the 3DS’ year, with Shigeru Miyamoto claiming that it is much more than just a simple retouching of the 14-year-old game. Considering the spotlight Nintendo is putting on the game, it’s a shame that this Limited Edition set will only be coming to the US, with there being no announcement regarding whether or not international 3DS owners will be treated to a similar bundle for the game.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D has no confirmed release date, though is expected to launch during Q1/Q2 of this year.
