Stephen Colbert is rounding the final bend in his excellent run as host of “The Colbert Report”, and last night he welcomed Kendrick Lamar to deliver one hell of a powerful goodbye.
Kendrick debuted an untitled new track, featuring Thundercat and Bilal, which was reportedly produced by Astronote. It’s a slow-builder that becomes truly fierce, laced by a saxophone. Check it out below.
Kendrick also sat down for a chat with Stephen, who joked that since he was the last-ever musical act on the “Report”, “Paul McCartney, R.E.M., Jack White, and Nas were your opening acts.”
