Blizzard has confirmed that Hearthstone: Goblins vs Gnomes will become available on December 8th in North America, and December 9th in Europe, Korea, Taiwan, and China.
The expansion will be formatted differently than the previous expansion, Curse of Naxxramas. Instead of having a single-player dungeon to explore, challenges, and a few dozen new cards, Goblin vs Gnomes will add a whopping 120 cards to the game that can be earned through card packs, crafted with dust, or acquired through arena competition. Essentially, it’s a dedicated card expansion that increases the numbers of cards in the pool.

The 120 cards in Goblins vs Gnomes look to diversify the tactics employed by increasing the card pool by roughly 20%. You’ll see new attributes, such as the Ogre Ninja’s “Stealth: 50% chance to attack the wrong enemy” or the Hunter’s Feign Death which can “trigger all Deathrattles on your minions”. There are new mechanical based cards, RNG-based risk cards, and a ton related to the wackiness of the Goblin and Gnome races.
