If there’s a more fun reason be to be suffering from fatigue, we haven’t heard of it. Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is allegedly in danger of burnout due to his activities off the pitch – namely, “private time” with his Spanish graphic designer girlfriend Laia Grassi (pictured above).
According to Chilean newspaper La Caerta, the 25-year-old’s long-term girlfriend has ensured that he hasn’t overlooked his, ahem, “responsibilities” in their relationship, and as such Sanchez is struggling to balance his work/personal life.
The Chilean newspaper didn’t get a quote from Sanchez so this is obviously all speculation, though it pleases us to believe that Sanchez, who remains a highlight of Arsenal’s rather sporadic season, is enjoying himself off the pitch as much as he seems to be enjoying his time on it.
Sanchez, who moved to Arsenal from Barcelona for £40million, has scored 8 goals in his past 10 matches, along with putting on a breathless performance against Manchester United despite the London club losing out to them.
