The Silliest Game Ever Just Got Even More Silly: Goat Simulator Becomes an MMO

Goat Simulator, developer Coffee Stain Studios’ oddball, purposely glitch-ridden game in which you control a goat causing havoc in an open-world environment, is set to become a free MMO thanks to a new patch.

Patch 1.2 will see the game transformed into an MMO that will be free to owners of the game, with a story focusing upon a war between goats and sheep. It will include five playable classes, including Warrior, Rogue, Magician, Hunter and Microwave (which is literally a microwave with legs) and a level cap of 101.

The debut gameplay trailer, which you can watch below, pokes fun at the recent disastrous World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor expansion, which has seen players unable to join a game on its servers as Blizzard have struggled to cope with an influx of users, with the trailer showing the developers selecting the ‘Medium’ setting on a drop-down menu titled “Login Queue Time.” Well played, Coffee Stain Studios.

Goat MMO Simulator will launch on November 20th on Steam, with it being available on PC, Mac and Linux with full controller support.
