Superproducer, musical badass and the reason we have any idea who Amy Winehouse is, Mark Ronson has unveiled the lead single from his upcoming fourth studio album, featuring Bruno Mars. It’s a dance-funk dose of goodness called “Uptown Funk” with an avalanche of nods to classic funk jams of the past, and it kicks some serious ass. Check it out below.
“Uptown Funk” is Ronson’s first new single since 2012′s Olympic-sponsored song “Anywhere In The World.” He and Mars will rock the song on the November 22nd episode of Saturday Night Live, which has reached astonishing new lows in its troubled run. But we won’t hold that against Mr. Ronson.
