EA Sports, the creators of the hugely popular FIFA series, have revealed who is the fastest player in the Premier League this season, with Everton’s Phil Jagielka coming out on top.
The list of the top 10 fastest Premier League players was compiled as a result of data collected by EA Sports, who track the movements of every player in the league, with Jagielka being revealed as the player who hit the highest speed this season, reaching a pinnacle of 35.99km/h.
The likes of Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez, two players who are frequently considered to be the fastest in the entire Premier League, failed to even make an appearance on the list. Check it out below. courtesy of the Mail Online:
- Phil Jagielka (Everton) – 35.99 km/h
- Ritchie de Laet (Leicester) – 35.94 km/h
- Joe Ledley (Crystal Palace) – 35,91 km/h
- Steven N’Zonzi (Stoke) – 35.82 km/h
- Connor Wickham (Sunderland) – 35.80 km/h
- Mohamed Diame (Hull City) – 35.68 km/h
- Alan Hutton (West Ham) – 35.54 km/h
- Nathan Dyer (Swansea) – 35.53 km/h
- Craig Gardner (West Brom) – 35.49 km/h
- Joey O’Brien (West Ham) – 35.46 km/h
While this list doesn’t reveal who is consistently quick on their feet, it still features a number of surprising inclusions who we never would have guessed would have made an appearance in a “fastest players” list. Perhaps Jagielka had sipped on a few too many cups of coffee on that particular day?Â
