SXSW 2015 Lineup: First Artists Announced

The big announcement is finally upon us! The first official run of artists has been announced for the music portion of SXSW 2015, an all-inclusive buffet of music we can’t wait to sink our teeth into once again. And with last year’s massively successful Crave showcase bringing out Lady Gaga, Odd Future, Semi-Precious Weapons and more, we’ve got some massive plans in the works to set the SXSW bar even higher!

Kicking off excitement for SXSW 2015, SXSWfm gave followers a sneak peek of the first big SXSW Music Festival announcement on Tuesday before Wednesday’s full announcement of the first run of artists. This year’s event taking place Tuesday, March 17 – Sunday, March 22, 2015 in Austin, Texas.

Highlighted sessions this year will include: SXSW Interview with The Church; Viva Album Art!; Ladies First: How to be a Woman in Rap Journalism; That Sync-ing Feeling!; The Future of Event Tech; and Getting Royalties from Streaming Music Services.
