Gyroscope are hitting the road for the first time since 2011 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s debut album, Sound Shattering Sound.
The Perth four-piece are set for a run of five shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth as part of the Sound Shattering Sound (10 Years On) National Tour kicking off in mid-December.
Gyroscope will mark their return to the road with shows at Brisbane’s The Brightside, Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory, The Corner in Melbourne as well as a triumphant return home for a gig at The Rosemount in Perth in what will be the band’s first shows since guitarist Zoran Trivic was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in 2012.
Fans will be treated to a live performance of the entire 12-track Sound Shattering Sound at each of the five tour stops, as well as favourites from more recent releases Breed Obsession (2008’s No.1 Australian album) and 2010’s Cohesion, which peaked at No.3 on the Aussie album chart.
Tickets are available from 9am local time on Friday, December 3. Fellow Perth bands The Love Junkies and Graphic Characters have been named as the Gyroscope support acts.
