Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey has announced a three-show acoustic solo tour to hit Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this November.
Dempsey has been busy touring Australia with Something For Kate, spending a chunk of 2014 on a sold-out 20th anniversary tour while also releasing a film, book and the band’s full back catalogue.
He’ll be on the road again for the 3 Cities Tour to perform a few intimate solo shows featuring his own material, Something For Kate classics, and possibly even another rendition of April’s ‘Wrecking Ball’ cover.
Dempsey kicks off the 3 Cities Tour at Sydney’s Factory Theatre on November 7, also visiting The Triffid in Brisbane and Melbourne’s The Corner Hotel.
The singer-songerwriter is also headlining October’s Follow The Sun festival in Adelaide along with blues and roots quartet Bonjah.
Dempsey’s first solo album, Everything Is True (2009), reach No.5 on the Aussie album charts while last year’s follow up, Shotgun Karaoke, hit No.17.
