Throughout The Replacements’ maniacally anticipated set at Boston Calling on Sunday, the crowd filled in the lines to “Valentine,” “Take Me Down To The Hospital,” “Androgynous,” “Love You Till Friday,” “Bastards of Young” and a host of others with ecstatic, middle-aged glee. Paul Westerberg and his band (which now features David Minehan of The Neighborhood on guitar) did their job well, even slipping in a cover of The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back.”
