An Australian dad and soon to be worldwide legend has pulled off an incredible basketball shot in his own backyard, winning a bet with his daughter and, in the process, saving himself a whole stack of cash.
As seen in the footage below, the Aussie dad is standing with his back to the backyard basketball hoop while his daughter is filming it, as she places the bet she will soon regret. “If this goes in, I will not make you pay one more dollar for anything I want,” she says.
Judging by both of their reactions following the incredible shot that followed, it’s fair to say neither of them expected what happened next.
Stunned by his accomplishment, the overjoyed dad edges towards the camera, saying with glee, “This is amazing. I don’t have to pay anything!” The video was first posted on YouTube on April 20th, 2014 by user Tim Bower and has received over a million hits since.
