Thom Yorke ventured into uncharted territory as part of the supergroup Atoms for Peace, but came out with a debut album that echoed the minimalism of Radiohead’s divisive last LP The King of Limbs.
For many, The King of Limbs was a disappointing follow-up to one of the revered band’s most popular albums, In Rainbows. However, drummer Phil Selway has confirmed that sessions are underway for the band’s next album and has insisted that Radiohead’s best days are ahead of them.

Speaking to NME Magazine, Selway said: “There’s always that sense that our best record is still to come. There’s still a lot creativity we can do together.”
When pushed about what the band’s new album would sound like, Selway replied: “I have absolutely no idea. And that’s what keeps us all there until the end.”
With The King of Limbs, many came away feeling that the band hadn’t pushed the boundaries of what they were capable of as they had done with classics such as OK Computer and Kid A. Hopefully this won’t prove to be the case with whatever the fivesome have up their sleeves next.
