A steelbook edition of Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire has been announced for a European release.

The upcoming 3DS games, which are both set to release in Europe on November 28th and in North America on November 21st, will both have limited editions of the game available upon launch, which includes a metallic steelbook case with Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre on the front of it, depending upon which version of the game you buy.
There are a number of other collectible items fans can receive by pre-ordering the games from selected outlets, as detailed below:
- Ordering the games through the Official Nintendo UK Store will earn you a Legendary Figurine of either Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre. Those pre-ordering the Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Limited Edition from the Official Nintendo UK Store will receive a Primal Kyogre figurine, whilst those pre-ordering the Pokémon Omega Ruby Limited Edition will receive a Primal Groudon figurine.
- Pre-ordering Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire from the European store GAME will receive one Legendary Figurine of either Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre.
- Pre-ordering either game from ShopTo.net will bag you a 2D Keyring of Torchic.
Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire are remakes of the Game Boy Advance games Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, with their gameplay and visuals being brought up to speed with the series’ latest new releases, Pokémon X & Y.
The Primal forms of Groudon and Kyogre were revealed as being a result of a ‘Primal Reversion’ technique that will be featured in the game, which could be related to X & Y‘s Mega Evolutions in the games’ stories.
Nintendo hasn’t announced whether or not these Limited Steelbook Editions of the games will receive a North America release, so fingers crossed.
