50 Cent Taunts Mayweather With Humiliating ALS Challenge

Now here’s a cause worth tuning in for: Rapper 50 Cent is using the Ice Bucket Challenge to take his former-friend feud with Floyd Mayweather to potentially humiliating new heights.

Following the insanely effective run of ice-bucket challenges benefitting the ALS Foundation, the rapper posted a video Thursday asking the boxing icon to take part in a challenge, though this one doesn’t involve a bucket of ice, or even the ALS Foundation.

Ice Bucket Challenge Founder Has Drowned

“This is a special ALS/ELS challenge for you Floyd,” 50 said. “If you could read one full page of a ‘Harry Potter’ book … I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want to. F*ck the bucket of ice!” he says to end the clip, before throwing a bucket of ice water towards his backyard.

That was tough enough alone, but when he shared the video on Instagram, he took the Mayweather mockery up a notch, saying he wanted the fighter to “read a full page … without starting and stopping or f*cking up.”

The taunting may have been inspired by an Instagram video 50 posted before he issued the challenge, during which Floyd was asked about his beefs with 50 Cent, Nelly and T.I.

The Best Ice Bucket Challenge Fail Ever

“God has blessed me with an unbelievable talent, with fast feet, fast hands, unbelievable defense and a very, very sharp mind,” he said on Thursday. “So I’m thankful for that. Of course, hip hop artists, they come and go. They come and go. But I’m still here.”

I’ve got more than a hunch that we won’t be seeing Floyd impersonating JK Rowling anytime soon – but the ball’s in his court.
