Remember when MTV played music videos? Yeah, the memory is getting hazy over here too. These days, the company apparently pays its bills by putting buzz-worthy celebs into strange situations and have them act like ridiculous monkeys.
The world has undoubtedly seen Nicki Minaj‘s ass-prominent “Anaconda” cover. The thick-bottomed rapper stopped by MTV’s special VMA preview show, host James Franco (in character as Dave Skylark from the upcoming film The Interview) asked her a series of questions about the controversial cover, more specifically her gigantic hindquarters. Minaj feigns annoyance as Franco, prompted by “producer” Seth Rogen, lobs questions such as, “If your ass was a tree, what kind of tree would it be?”
This, of course, comes after a segment in which Franco pretends to make Iggy Azalea feel weird for her accent and tells her how much of a loser she’ll be if she doesn’t win a VMA in the upcoming show. It’s all part of the fun, kids! Check out the weird-ass clip below.
