Regional New South Wales music festival, Festival Of The Sun, has dropped a massive 23-act lineup in celebration of the event’s 10th birthday this December.
The Port Macquarie-based festival announced a superhero themed birthday party featuring home-grown favourites The Jezabels, Violent Soho, Shihad and Dune Rats plus triple j Unearthed stars Allday, Jackie Onassis and The Cairos.
The boutique beach festival is offering just 3,000 tickets to the waterfront Sundowner Breakwall Tourist Park near the Port Macquarie CBD for the two-day event, December 12-13, while retaining its “BYO ‘fizzy drinks’ and ‘party punch’” policy.
The $165 tickets (plus booking fee) include beachside camping, but the festival is also offering VIP cabin and cottage accommodation for those who like to celebrate in style.
“Iʼm glad to say that the smile still never leaves my face every year of FOTSUN. I feel like the festival is still so young, as the last ten years have simply flown by,” festival founder Simon Luke said in a press release.
We have all been very lucky to have witnessed so many amazing artists play on our stage, and have had so many great punters and crew to share the experiences with.
I am so excited for the next 10 years of FOTSUN.”
Tickets are available September 2 from 10AM at the official Festival Of The Sun website.
