Gamescom 2014: DayZ is Coming to PS4

One of the PC’s most popular games is now coming to PS4. That game is DayZ, an online survival horror game that has an active playerbase of over one million gamers.

Developer Bohemia Interactive spent a few minutes on-stage explaining that the PS4 version of DayZ will be designed and optimized specifically for the system. Its engine code will be altered to ensure that it plays as console gamers hope it would.

No release date was confirmed, but a 2015 debut is likely. It’s unknown if an early access program will be available.
