The time that dance music fans Australia-wide have been waiting 12 long months for has finally arrived, the Stereosonic 2014 lineup is here. Organisers have outdone themselves once again, announcing a roster featuring Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Diplo, Disclosure, Skrillex, Steve Aoki and more!
Calvin Harris, Tiesto, and Skrillex are among the huge names at the top of this year’s bill. All three are some of the most respected and biggest names in the dance music game. While Harris has redefined what it means to be an EDM superstar, Tiesto stands as the man who first bore that title. Meanwhile, Skrillex has risen to be one of the most in-demand names in any genre of music.
As always, Stereo have managed to secure an incredible supporting cast. Punters will be treated to sets and performances from the likes of Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Laidback Luke, Cosmic Gate, homegrown heroes Peking Duk, Porter Robinson, Nina Las Vegas and many, many more.

Organisers set themselves a seemingly impossible challenge last year. Stereosonic 2013 saw them drop an initial lineup that featured 74 of the most recognisable names in dance music today, including the mighty main stage hat trick of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Armin van Buuren.
The bar was set high for Stereosonic’s 2014 return and high anticipation saw early bird tickets quickly selling out. First round tickets are set to officially hit sale soon and are sure to sell out just as quickly, so you better act fast.
Back in February, organisers made the dreams of Aussie dance fanatics come true when they announced that, following the successful launch of a two-day format in 2013, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Brisbane will each receive a double dose of Stereo this year.
This was good news for punters, as the two-day tour was first launched to fit in what promoter Richie McNeill described as “the greatest EDM lineup Australia has ever seen.” This year will once again see two Stereos running simultaneously, with Sydney and Perth running on the same dates, and Melbourne and Brisbane running at once, sharing Dec. 6 with Adelaide.
