Hearthstone‘s first expansion pack, titled Curse of Naxxramas, is arriving within the next two weeks. It brings with it a ton of new content, including 30 new cards, new battle screens, and a highly anticipated adventure mode that is new to the game.
The adventure mode will center around the legendary Naxxramas, a raid dungeon which appeared twice in World of Warcraft. It’ll have four wings, just like the raid, and a variety of bosses that are tough to defeat but reward players with new cards. Each wing in Naxxramas will be unlocked on weekly basis, requiring a month before the final two bosses are available.
There will also be a Heroic Mode available for those who have defeated all the enemies in a given wing. Heroic bosses are extremely difficult and require both preparation and a sound strategy. If you can defeat all bosses on Heroic, you’ll unlock a new back for your card collection. Considering how much Blizzard is emphasizing the difficulty of this mode, it won’t be an easy task.
Seen above, the price structure is modest. For $24.99 you get access to all of Naxxramas. Alternatively, you can purchase individual wings, and even pay with in-game gold.
