Flume, Four Tet Top Listen Out 2014 Lineup

Boutique dance festival Listen Out 2014 has dropped its rather impressive 2014 lineup, with plenty of dance-friendly musicians and producers coming our way this September and October. As the boutique dance music event returns this spring it will have some big improvements on last year’s event.

Headed by big-name acts like Sydney producer Flume (in his only shows for 2014), Melbourne’s very own Chet Faker, IDM mastermind Four Tet and rapper Schoolboy Q, Listen Out’s 2014 lineup looks set to take care of all your electronic music needs.

There was speculation earlier this week that enigmatic producer and singer ZHU may be playing the festival, and the lineup announcement has confirmed this. Other acts on the lineup include Ta-ku,Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (with a DJ Set), ShlohmoYoung Fathers and Bondax.

According to event organiser and Fuzzy director John Wall, Listen Out venues will now have more space and new entrance layouts, easier bar access, and new stage positioning for better sound in Sydney.

Listen Out 2014 begins in Sydney on Saturday, 27th September before making its way to Perth, Melbourne and finally Brisbane on Sunday, 5th October. Check out the complete first lineup announcement below, along with full festival details.

Tickets on sale from midday Thursday, 19th June via the Listen Out website.
