The World Cup 2014 kicked off with a suitably musical opening ceremony, with the Brazilian hosts putting on a colourful display that also included the musical talents of Jennifer Lopez, Claudia Leitte, and whatever it is that Pitbull does.
FIFA released a batch of images from the event, which preceded the kick-off game between Brazil and Croatia, which you can view below.
