Want to Help Improve the PS4? Sony Now Lets You Share and Vote For Your Favorite Ideas

As with any new electronic product on the market, the PS4 could use some improvement. In a day and age when consumers are being listened to more than ever, feedback is the key to Sony polishing the PS4 experience to a shine. And boy are they listening.

Sony has a new sub-site which it calls PlayStation.Blog.Share. On this site PlayStation fans are given a platform to “share their ideas”. These ideas can be wild, realistic, or hopefully helpful in the goal of making the PS4 a dream system.

All that’s needed to submit feedback is an SEN account (the new form of PSN). After submitting an item, including a title and description, other users can vote on whether they like or dislike the idea, as well as comment and share to social media.

Currently, these are the five most popular items:

Delete trophies with 0%

There should be a way for you to delete trophies with 0% on all these free games I try out, that I never have any intention of playing again.

Ability to change Gamer ID Update

PS4 needs update for ability to change Gamer ID for $5 to fully compete with Microsoft and help the company more.

Convert sub account to master account

It would be great to provide a way to convert a sub account to a master account when the user of the sub account turns 18.

YouTube app for the PS4

The PlayStation store should add a YouTube application for the PS4 and PS3. You should also be able to upload your gameplay from your PS4 by using the share button.

Offline trophies on PS4

Allow us to view our trophies offline on the PS4.

The website has been live for fewer than 24 hours, so there are a lot of great improvements that have yet to appear on the site. That said, there are already 100s of items for gamers to vote on.

Even if you don’t plan on sharing an idea of your own, you should at least look at some of the ideas and vote on them. This is just one way you can assist Sony in focusing resources on improvements that you want to see.
