Canadian Music Week runs from today until May 10th, and acts like Walk Off The Earth, Tegan and Sara, Woods, City & Colour, and The 1975 will be amongst the musical highlights.
Now in its 33rd year, Canadian Music Week will also feature conferences, awards galas, movies, and comedy events.
There will be a Come As You Are Benefit Concert for Youth Mental Health & The Arts that will showcase a number of artists who will be performing their covers of different Nirvana songs.
The Canadian Music Week Comedy Fest is being headlined by raunchy homegrown funnyman Tom Green at Yuk Yuk’s Toronto along with Canadian comedians Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice, who will be performing at Queen Elizabeth Theatre, with additional performances by international Youtube sensation Miranda Sings and standup comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.
