Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant has dismissed speculation that the band may get back together, saying that there is “no chance” they’d ever reunite and make music together.
Led Zeppelin were interviewed by the BBC prior to the reissue of the band’s first three albums, and when guitarist Jimmy Page was asked about the possibility of a reunion, he replied: “I’m sure people would love to hear it. I’m not the one to be asking, I don’t sing.”
However, singer Plant quickly dismissed the rumours, as when asked of the chances of Led Zeppelin ever performing together again he responded by saying “zero”.
Jimmy Page himself has been working on the reissues of the albums, saying: “I don’t want to die and have somebody else do it”. He added: “I’m authoritative about what was done in the first place.”
Led Zeppelin last reunited at London’s O2 Arena seven years ago. The reissues of the band’s first three albums are due out this year, with the following three being released in 2015.
