Microsoft has issued a service alert, as it is looking to fix connectivity issues for Xbox Live on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms.
At the time of this writing there is currently limited service on Xbox Live, with online multiplayer features, party chat and game capture videos all suffering some problems due to a lapse in service.
Microsoft has addressed this issue, saying: “Are you having trouble purchasing content with CSV credit? We’ve got you covered, Xbox members! Thanks for your patience while we work toward a fix. Check back in 30 minutes for an update on our progress.”
Another statement from the company reads: “If you are having trouble using certain game features in Forza 5, this is due to a scheduled maintenance taking place right now. Thanks for being patient. We’ll let you know as soon as this work is complete.”
It hasn’t been revealed how long the scheduled maintenance will take, but expect it to be finished within the day.
