Titanfall publisher EA has apologized to fans and thanked them for their patience, as a range of issues are currently affecting the PC version of the game.
The most prominent issue thus far is an Error 503 message that appears when users try to boot up the game from EA’s Origin service. A post on publisher EA’s help site addressed this issue, reading: “Titanfall is currently experiencing connection problems, which means you may not be able to connect to online play, or even might get dropped from an online match you’re currently playing.
“Rest assured that we’re addressing this problem and will provide updates as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. Please stay tuned to this article for more information.”
The game also experienced some downtime which caused connectivity issues across the board, though according to EA this issue has now been resolved.
Titanfall has been warmly received by critics and fans alike, though it has experienced no small amount of teething problems as Microsoft’s servers have struggled to keep up with the heavy demand.
