We’ve all seen 8 Mile, so we all know the story of how Eminem cut his teeth growing up as a battle rapper in pre-apocalypse Detroit. It makes perfect sense, then, that Em is going back to his roots with a new reality TV series designed to give other young battle spitters a shot in the game.
ThisIs50 host Jack Thriller took to his Instagram (which has since been deleted) to reveal that Em chose him to host the show.
There is no official word yet regarding Eminem’s involvement with the TV show. No other details are available at publish time, but we’ll keep you posted on developments for what should be a promising new project. Better that than yet another Storage Wars or Duck Dynasty spinoff.
