The PS4 console exclusive Warframe might be coming to the Xbox One, as it has received a PEGI age rating for Microsoft’s console.
The free-to-play shooter, which first appeared on the PC and was then snapped up by Sony, received a middling critical reception when it made its way to the PS4 as a launch title. However, due to an update on the PEGI website, it looks as though Microsoft has decided to bring the game to the Xbox One anyway. You can view the listing, as it appears on the European site, below. Note that the release date is listed as December 31st, 2013, though as that is today it’s likely that it is a placeholder date.
Publisher Digital Extremes’ vice president of publishing, Meredith Braun, has already made it clear that she wanted to port the game to the Xbox One eventually. saying that the company would be “silly not to consider Warframe for Xbox One now” after Microsoft scaled down its restrictive DRM policies.
