For those who would think that former Lostprophets’ frontman Ian Watkins wouldn’t have been so nonchalant about his sick perversions, remember that this is the man whose laptop password was – and I am not making this up – “If***kids”.
Watkins was recently charged with a string of deeply disturbing crimes, including the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl and the attempted rape of a baby. With the benefit of hindsight, this 2010 Myspace interview with the band features a deeply sinister moment in which Ian Watkins answers a question by online user “Babygirl”.
Watkins’ bandmate reads the question out to him, saying: “Babygirl asks what is your guilty pleasure?” Watkins then smirks, before replying: “You just answered it.”
He then adds: “People at home will be like, ‘did he just say that?'” before his bandmate says that he didn’t hear him. Watkin then changes his answer, saying “smack.”
