This is a huge week for gaming as it marks the official beginning of the eighth generation of consoles.
The PlayStation 4 debuts this Friday along with a handful of games, most notably Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack. There are also tons of multiplatform titles that have been upgraded to take advantage of the PS4’s impressive hardware, such as Battlefield 4 and NBA 2K14. Most of its library is already purchasable in-store, and quite a few people are already taking photos of their collection of games and accessories before launch.
There are a few good-looking current-gen games, too. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is the first R&C game made by Insomniac in a few years and comes with an affordable $29.99 price tag. An ultimate edition of XCOM: Enemy Unknown is also hitting store shelves this Tuesday, and its original release was award-winning.
