The Soundwave festival and promoter AJ Maddah have finally dropped a second lineup announcement to join headliners Green Day and Avenged Sevenfold.
Leading the second announcement are Mastodon, returning to Australia with Soundwave next year for the first live shows since 2012, and A Day To Remember, who are making another Aussie visit after touring earlier this year with The Devil Wears Prada.
Also confirmed are Jimmy Eat World, Panic! At The Disco, HIM, Pennywise, Glassjaw and Less Than Jake.
A long wait between announcements saw a number of bands taking part in the Soundwave festival leaked in lead up to Thursday night’s announcement, including Zebrahead, Devil You Know and I Call Fives.
The festival is expected to announced a third lineupis in the coming weeks that should include more international acts, according to Maddah.

Soundwave kicks off in Brisbane on Saturday, February 22 in Brisbane before making stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
