Fun Lovin’ Criminals star Huey Morgan didn’t take too kindly to his treatment on BBC music panel show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, smashing a cup and storming off the set after hosts Rizzle Kicks asked him to guess his own lyrics.
During the ‘next lines’ round of the comedy quiz show, Morgan was none too pleased when a couple of Fun Lovin’ Criminals songs were thrown into the mix. In retaliation, he smashed a cup next to teammates Phil Jupitus and presenter Laura Whitmore. After a few jibes from comedian Noel Fielding, Morgan stormed off the set.
This isn’t the first time Never Mind The Buzzcocks has seen a contestant angrily walk off. In 2007, Ordinary Boys frontman Preston packed his bags when former host Simon Amstell read transcripts from his wife Chanelle Houghton’s autobiography.
