Call of Duty: Ghosts Extinction Gameplay Surfaces

Just days ago Infinity Ward debuted what will be its new co-op mode for Call of Duty: Ghosts: Extinction. It includes aliens, and simply because of that we’re excited about it. Today, we get a better look at what it’s like to sit down and play this new mode.

GameSpot has published a new video that features over 5 minutes of gameplay from the new Extinction mode. The footage is very reminiscent of Treyarch’s Zombie mode with waves of enemies and environmental interaction (such as base defense construction). The biggest difference here is that the levels are much more outdoor-oriented, and the enemies are fast insectoid aliens instead of slow zombies. If you enjoy playing Zombies with your friends, this should be right up your alley.
