Fulham steamrolled their way to a comfortable 4-1 victory against Crystal Palace on Monday (October 21st), but it’s Pajtim Kasami’s spectacular goal that has got fans talking.
Kasami’s goal is being branded the best of the season so far, with Jack Wilshere’s tiki-taka effort against Norwich this past weekend being shunted into second place.
The goal saw Kasami chest the ball on the edge of the box, before volleying it over Julian Speroni and into the back of Crystal Palace’s net to level the score at 1-1. Fulham then went on to score three more to take home the three points.
Speaking of the goal after the match, Kasami said: “I’m very pleased that we won that game as we were losing 1-0. Thanks to Sascha for the great ball and it was an unbelievable goal. I’m very pleased.
“I saw Sascha had the ball and saw I could run in the space. It came perfect to my chest and I took it direct with my right foot.”
