We had the time of our lives out at Austin City Limits 2013, catching incredible performances from Atoms For Peace, Queens of The Stone Age, The Black Angels, Electric Six and many more, while reveling in the unbeatable food and local culture. We also spent time interviewing Arctic Monkeys, The Mowgli’s, Franz Ferdinand, Vintage Trouble and even the mayor of Austin, which you can catch up with on our ACL 2013 coverage page.
During the music marathon, we sat down with Reignwolf’s faithful low-end groovemaker David “Stitch” Rapaport to discuss life on the road, festival excitement, the thrilling experience of playing with The Pixies and more. Alongside bandmates Jordan Cook and Joseph Braley, Stitch and Reignwolf kick out the jams with an overdose of raucous recklessness and a virtuosic command of howling, furiously passionate blues rock. Frankly, it’s bewildering to see any of them sitting still, even for an interview. Check out our conversation below:
