Paul McCartney appeared on The Late Show on Monday night (October 7th), and let host Jimmy Fallon in on a little-known “fact” – that he is actually the uncredited creator of both the selfie and the photobomb.
McCartney brought along evidence with him to prove his statement, showing a photograph that he had taken of himself in a mirror when he was younger, and one of him pretending to elbow drop George Harrison whilst Harrison was having his photo taken with two female fans.
McCartney appeared on the chat show in order to promote his upcoming solo album New, which releases on October 14th. The LP is being produced by the likes of Mark Ronson, Paul Epworth, Ethan Johns and Giles Martin.
