Rockstars Warns Not to Install the Xbox 360 GTA V Play Disc

You’re probably excited to spend an unhealthy amount of hours exploring the County of Los Santos when Grand Theft Auto V releases tomorrow. But before you do that, we have a tip if you plan to play the Xbox 360 version.

In response to The official Rockstar Support Twitter account has issued the following warning:

For optimal performance, we recommend not installing that disc. We will have more info on our Support Site at launch.

To experience the game as it was designed, install the disc labeled Disc 1 and then run the game with Disc 2 inserted. This allows the game to be run from both the hard drive and second disc rather than entirely from the hard drive.
