Many games have been frightened away from releasing during the early half of September due to Grand Theft Auto 5‘s intimidating existence, but some joyous goodies remain.
This week the PS3 brings nostalgia to the world with Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Announced exactly a year ago, it includes three games: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Final Mix was previously Japanese exclusive with special content, and now it’s been built to support the PS3’s hardware with HD visuals and improved controls. Offered for only $39.99, it’s a fun adventure recommendable to anyone.
Those looking to lose some sleep are encouraged to try out Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs on Tuesday. It’s a spiritual successor to one of the scariest games ever made: Amnesia: The Dark Descent. There are hundreds of videos of gamers who have tried to brave The Dark Descents notoriously scary campaign. Can A Machine for Pigs produce similarly hilarious videos on YouTube?
The Wonderful 101 also releases this week. Made by the same team who released Bayonetta, it delivers an exciting and stylish action experience. Those who enjoyed Pikmin 3 will quickly fall in love with The Wonderful 101.
