Nintendo has released a video comparing the original Gamecube version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and its upcoming Wii U HD remake. The results are pretty glorious.
Featuring brighter, crisper visuals much more befitting of its cel-shaded art style, Wind Waker HD looks set to become one of the best-looking games we’ve seen on the Wii U thus far, with improved lighting, shading and water effects.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will be released on October 4th in the US, Europe and Australia, exclusively for the Wii U.
