Microsoft have officially released the very first Xbox One unboxing video, with Xbox’s Major Nelson revealing to prospective owners of the upcoming console what they’ll be getting their hands on if they choose the Dark Side this November.
The biggest revelation from the video is yet another Microsoft u-turn, with Nelson saying that a headset would now be included with the Xbox One, contrary to the company’s previous statement that headsets would be sold separately.
Also mentioned in the video is some exclusive features for those who purchase the Day One Edition of the console, including a chrome D-pad for the controller, special packaging and a code to unlock the Day One achievement. Both the Day One and Standard Editions of the Xbox One will include the console (obviously), the new Kinect, a HDMI cable, power supply and a Quick Start guide. It will retail for $500.
